FUN weekend with steve mcquoid
FUN weekend 7th - 9th May 2021
Over the last 15 years our annual church weekends (F.U.N.) have proved to be a great source of encouragement, inspiration and refreshment for us all as a church fellowship. If you have not yet put it firmly in your diary, we would like to encourage you to plan to join us for the whole weekend as this has become one of the highlights of the year. Our aim is to produce a weekend that is For Ur Nourishment by deepening us all spiritually, and in fellowship with one another as a church, enabling us to be more fruitful in the coming year as individuals and a church.
Our special guest speaker is Stephen McQuoid, Director of GLO and former principle at Tilsley Bible college, Motherwell. Stephen is a widely respected Bible teacher across the world and is a good friend of FCC, having spoken at our church on previous occasions. Whilst all the teaching will be viewed online, Stephen will be joining us in person for the weekend and this will enable some church members to be able to speak with him personally, especially during the Saturday afternoon events, which he will participate in.
Stephen will be bringing three messages to us based on Jesus famous sermon in Matthew 6:19-34 with the title, 'Building a secure investment'. He will also answer questions after the Friday night and Saturday morning sessions when we plan a time of Q&A to follow the teaching.
The programme for the FUN weekend activities is as follows:
